Tavares Produce was born from a legacy of over 100 years immersed in the vibrant world of tropical agriculture in the Dominican Republic. Our story begins with generations of Dominican farmers—our family and close family friends—who have cultivated tropical produce with care, pride, and deep respect for the land.

For decades, this rich agricultural knowledge and high-quality produce remained within the borders of the island, shared through local trade and community connections. Today, Tavares Produce honors that legacy by introducing these ethically sourced, tropical fruits to the U.S. market for the very first time.

We work directly with the same families who have been growing these fruits for generations, ensuring transparency, fair practices, and a direct link from farm to table. Every product we ship carries with it a story of heritage, sustainability, and commitment to quality.
